Barry Swayn is the Principal & Managing Partner of Barry Swayn Architects (BSA)
Barry has extensive experience in multi-storey mixed-use major developments, multi-function commercial, retail, residential and residential developments, including themed project concepts through to heritage conservation and institutional facilities.
Barry has been working in Dubai and the Gulf Region for over 24 years. Projects include the Emirates Towers, Al Ain University Master Plan, Doha College of Technology, EMAAR’s Arabian Ranch Houses, Dubai Marina Bridges, Bur Juman Centre, Atlantis on the Palm, and “The Palisades, Dubai”.
He has functioned as the Client’s representative, through to Project Design Manager and Lead Architect on project Teams for major projects through to the design of extensive Master Plans for cities in India and Malaysia. Over recent years been involved in a range of projects in the UAE, Germany, Iraq, India and Australia.
In Senegal over the last 4 years, BSA has been working in close association with ECOTRA providing Architectural and Master Planning design consultancy services on a wide range of Projects including guidance and support to the Senegalese Government and Authorities.
